Photography Services

As a photographer I often wander the boundaries between portraiture, fashion and fine art. In the past I have tried to force myself down more traditional paths with the belief that I would find a broader client base, but the simple reality is that I do my best work when I am trying to create images that are more expressive and that try to include some element of story. My goal now is to stick with what I do best and to create unique images that are carefully crafted to the needs of my clients. My projects can be as simple as a single portrait or as complex as an editorial session with supporting make-up artists and stylists, but the common element will always be the desire to create an image that is beyond the ordinary. Most projects will use the following approach:

  1. Discuss the type and number of images in advance and plan the project to meet those needs. Planning can include designing wall prints to match a specific space or storyboarding a portfolio from start to finish.
  2. The price of the project and expectations are agreed to before work begins.
  3. Photo sessions are planned with the location, time of day and clothing selected to support the type of images desired.
  4. Images from your sessions are edited and then the final selects are carefully retouched and processed to create the look that you require.
  5. All final prints are mounted and coated.

My style and project oriented approach may not be the best for all types of photography, but they provide a distinct a unique look and level of service for the areas where they are a good match. The following list highlights some possibilities:

  • Creative portraits that are far more expressive and personal that traditional portraits.
  • Senior Portraits are unique look. We can push this look farther into the realm of fashion or fine art than what is in my current portfolio.
